Outreach

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20).
At Mission Village this Great Commission shapes so much of who we are and what we do as a church.
Our outreach strategy includes evangelism, missions, and service.

Evangelism

In addition to training and equipping our people to share their faith with their friends and relatives, we want to create environments where our church family can connect with our community to build relationships. Whether it is at our fall harvest festival, summer beach nights, or simply playing soccer on our front lawn, we desire to be a church that is open to our community so that we can all come to know and love Jesus, and therefore be reconciled to God.

Missions

Mission Village Christian Fellowship is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom worldwide. We are currently supporting The Human Factor Leadership Academy in Ghana, New Hope for Women & Children, with our money and with our prayers. We also support Tecate Mission International.  We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means that they move to a foreign country or live and minister in our own community.

Service

Throughout The Bible, God shows a deep concern for the poor, the orphan, and the widow. We desire to bless those in our community who are in need, and in doing so, show God’s love to those who desperately need it. The Serra Mesa Food Pantry is located on our church campus and feeds up to 100 families every week. We partner with the Serra Mesa Community Council to be a blessing to those in our community. Additionally, our people regularly visit retirement homes and shut-ins to offer prayer and encouragement to those who are struggling.
