Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:18-20). At Mission Village this Great Commission shapes so much of who we are and what we do as a church. Our outreach strategy includes evangelism, missions, and service.

In addition to training and equipping our people to share their faith with their friends and relatives, we want to create environments where our church family can connect with our community in order to build relationships. Whether it is our summer kick-off, our summer beach nights, or simply playing soccer on our front lawn, we desire to be a church that is open to our community, so that our community can come to know and love Jesus, and therefore be reconciled to God.

Mission Village Christian Fellowship is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. We are currently supporting Ghana Leadership Academy (HFLA), New Hope for Women & Children (NHFWC), with our money and with our prayers. We also support God’s Extended Hand (GEH) and Tecate Mission International (TMI).  We encourage all of our people to respond to God’s call for laborers, whether it means that they move to a foreign country or live and minister in our own community.

Throughout the bible God shows a deep concern for the poor, the orphan and the widow. Therefore our desire is to bless those in our community who are in need, and in doing so show God’s love to those who desperately need it. The Serra Mesa Food Pantry (SMFP) operates out of our church campus and feeds up to 100 families every week. We partner with the Serra Mesa Community Council to be a blessing to those in our community. And our people regularly visit retirement homes and shut ins to offer prayer and encouragement to those who are struggling.
